The Role:

My client is a leading Australian FMCG business supplying high quality products. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a skilled Process Project Engineer to join their team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering capital projects, supporting production, and applying technical knowledge to ensure high performing, efficient and safe operations.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues to ensure efficient, high quality, low waste output.
• Analyze and optimize production processes for better efficiency, cost savings, and product quality.
• Scope and costing of projects
• Develop and implement process improvements to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Lead technical investigations and provide technical advice
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimising downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality protocols while maintaining sustainable practices.

Your Background:

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Prior experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in the food industry.
