We are a Chartered Accounting firm in Chatswood, seeking a friendly, motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team of three administrators. In this key role, you will support the Partners and Accountants in delivering high-quality service to our clients.
This permanent part-time position plays a central role in the smooth running of the office. The tasks are varied and engaging, offering opportunities for both personal and professional growth. You will interact closely with both our team and clients while managing a range of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Administration (MYOB AE / Xero)
- Managing tax and ASIC lodgements
- Collating financial reports
- Providing secretarial support, including answering phone calls
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Overseeing general office operations
- Assisting with practice management tasks and projects
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who can efficiently and independently manage both simple and complex tasks. The role involves daily administrative duties as well as long-term database and system management. Experience in a professional office and working in a small team environment will set you up for success. You should be able to manage your pace and deadlines independently while being supported by our team, partners, and other staff members. Suitable training will be provided.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Ideally, 3+ years of administration experience within a similar professional firm
- Excellent telephone etiquette and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Enthusiastic attitude and team spirit
