About the Role

This is more than just account management — it’s a hands-on sales and business development role where you’ll take ownership of an already established territory and be empowered to grow it further.

As Territory Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships, and finding new business opportunities across Newcastle and the Hunter Region. With thousands of products and extensive internal support at your disposal, you’ll have the tools you need to deliver results and develop as a professional. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Managing and growing a diverse customer base across retail and foodservice.
  • Building strong relationships with decision-makers — from restaurant owners and club managers to retail buyers and healthcare operators.
  • Proactively identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Cross-selling and upselling from a huge product portfolio to add value for customers.
  • Reviewing sales reports and maintaining accurate call cycles and customer records.
  • Partnering with suppliers and internal teams on account presentations and promotions.
  • Working toward clear KPIs with monthly reviews and ongoing coaching support.

About You

We’re open to backgrounds — what matters most is proven outbound B2B sales experience and the drive to succeed. You might come from FMCG, industrial, hospitality, tech, or services — anywhere you’ve had to get out into the market, win business, and manage client relationships.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A strong track record in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • Hunter mentality with the ability to prospect, close, and retain business.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to work to KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own territory.
  • Newcastle / Hunter Region based, with a current driver’s licence.
  • Experience in FMCG or beverages would be an advantage, but it’s absolutely not essential.
