Our client is a well-established property group with an active pipeline of projects across Sydney. They are now seeking an ambitious Development Manager to take ownership of projects from acquisition through to delivery, while also playing a key role in identifying and securing new opportunities to drive future growth.
This is a role for someone who is as comfortable running detailed feasibilities and managing consultants as they are meeting agents, landowners, and partners to uncover off-market deals. You’ll be joining a team with a reputation for quality, where your contribution will directly shape the direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of development projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within budget
• Source and assess new opportunities through networks, agents, and market research
• Undertake detailed feasibilities, financial modelling, and board submissions
• Oversee planning approvals, design management, and authority negotiations
• Manage consultants, builders, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Represent the business confidently in external negotiations and relationships

About You

• Proven track record as a Development Manager, ideally across residential or mixed-use projects
• Strong financial and feasibility skills with the ability to present clear recommendations
• Commercially sharp with an established network and deal-sourcing capability
• Strong communicator and negotiator, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and driven by outcomes
