About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our growing team at Touch Down Earthmoving in Logan Village, QLD. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, operating a range of heavy machinery with skill and precision.

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy equipment, such as excavators, rollers, and loaders.

Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety

Follow all site safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Work collaboratively with the construction team to coordinate and execute project tasks

Report any issues or concerns with equipment or site conditions to the appropriate supervisor

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy plant machinery

Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting site plans and blueprints

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

A valid truck license minimum MR and machinery tickets

A commitment to workplace health and safety
