MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate CNC Plasma Cutting Machines: Set up and operate machines to cut and shape steel components per specifications. Flexibility to operate multiple machines.

Operate Bystronic Laser Machines: Set up and operate machines to cut and shape steel components per specifications. Flexibility to operate multiple machines.

Material Handling: Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.

Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and adjust as needed.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and report concerns or incidents.

Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, manage scrap metal, and ensure tools are returned to their proper locations.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

Relevant CNC operating experience, with Kinetic machines or Bystronic Laser machines being advantageous.

Forklift ticket is advantageous.

Experience:

Prior experience in steel processing or sheet metal workshop preferred. Knowledge of materials and metallurgy is beneficial.

Skills:

Forklift ticket and overhead crane experience are advantageous.
