Hartley Projects & Helios Design and Construct is a growing Brisbane-based construction company specializing in end-to-end design and construct projects for residential and commercial clients, ranging from $350K - $2.5M. Our unique approach to renovations and fitouts integrates all aspects of design and building for a simplified project experience.

Involvement in early stages of the design and methodology to create a seamless build process.

We are recruiting a Leading Hand Carpenter to manage several concurrent projects. In this on-site position, you will work closely with our Director and Project Manager to ensure the smooth running and delivery of projects. Initially, the role will be on a contract basis with a view to transitioning to permanent employment for the right candidate. Rates depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Working on high end residential projects in Brisbane.

· Coordinating, organizing and managing suppliers and subcontractors, in conjunction with the Director.

· Managing a small team of carpenters.

· Strong supervisory, problem-solving and leadership skills.

· You will be confident in all aspects of carpentry work from framing, cladding, fix out to footing set out and landscaping.

· A keen eye for detail, motivated and conscientious.

· Career-focused with a desire to undertake further training and upskilling to progress your career.

· You will be required to supply your own tools and hold a current driver's license with your own reliable transport.
