About the role

Join the dynamic team at Ocean Catering as a full-time/part-time/casual Front of House professional. This role is integral to delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers at our Ocean Shores, NSW location. As the face of our business, you will be responsible for providing warm, attentive service and ensuring our guests leave feeling satisfied and eager to return.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanour

Taking food and beverage orders, ensuring accurate order entry and timely delivery

Providing recommendations on menu items and specials to assist customers in their selections

Monitoring dining room and ensuring tables are cleared and reset efficiently

Responding promptly and courteously to customer requests and queries

Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards

Collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless dining experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing, hospitality role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Passion for providing exceptional customer service

Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
