The Role

As a Project Engineer – Mining Technology Deployment, you will combine hands-on engineering with project management and stakeholder engagement to deliver RaptorTech solutions at scale.

This is a hybrid role: you’ll be coordinating projects, managing customer expectations, and leading implementation teams, while also being close to the technical details of system integration and commissioning.

What You’ll Do

Plan, manage, and deliver end-to-end deployment projects for RaptorTech technologies (FleetManager, Precision, Perception, Xpit).

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Lead site-based teams in system installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, operations) to resolve technical and operational issues.

Conduct risk assessments and project safety planning, ensuring compliance with site standards.

Provide structured operator training, documentation, and handover at project completion.

Support continuous improvement by feeding operational insights back into the product development lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Systems, or related).

Experience in project management and technology deployment (mining, construction, or industrial automation preferred).

Strong organisational and communication skills – able to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in site-based environments (FIFO/DIDO), balancing hands-on troubleshooting with customer engagement.

Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, PMBOK, or equivalent).

Desirable:

Background in consulting and business transformation to drive sustainable change

Experience deploying fleet management systems, GNSS/RTK, or autonomous equipment.

Understanding of mining operations, safety protocols, and commissioning processes.
