About the Company

Entracon is a Civil Construction company with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation and is now expanding further and looking to open a new base in Perth/WA. With several major projects already in the pipeline, we’re looking for several driven, skilled, and passionate Project Engineers / Project Managers to join our growing team.

The Role

You will draw your demonstrated site and engineering experience and be responsible for dealing with program, quality control, onsite safety, environmental compliance, and management of subcontractors on large construction projects. You will be expected to have an awareness of the commercial aspects for the project, to ensure maximum outcome. This role provides a great opportunity for career advancement through increased responsibility and opportunities to be involved in all aspects of the construction.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The efficient and effective management of the commercial and contractual activities on the project.

Effective and consistent implementation of the company’s commercial policies.

Assisting in the preparation of request quotations for subcontractors and supply teams.

Preparation of progress certificates for subcontractors and suppliers.

Preparation and submission of monthly OHS/ENV/QA report to company executives.

Monitoring compliance to program timelines and milestones.

Experience

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role within the construction environment, ideally with a minimum 5+ years’ experience.

Skills, Qualifications and other Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering

Relevant experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar position

Good understanding of earthmoving plant

Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail

Working knowledge of Microsoft Work and Excel etc

Previous experience in earthworks, water industry works, structures and drainage

Willing to travel within Australia, as required
