Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, materials, and manpower requirements.

Review project drawings, specifications, and design documents.

Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities.

Ensure work is executed according to approved designs, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Technical Oversight:

Provide technical support to construction teams on site.

Monitor civil engineering aspects like excavation, concrete works, formwork, rebar installation, structural steel, and finishing works.

Review and resolve technical issues or design discrepancies with consultants or architects.

Project Monitoring & Reporting:

Track project progress, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.

Maintain documentation of daily site activities, progress photos, material testing reports, and inspection logs.

Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.

Coordination & Communication:

Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, delays, and potential risks.

Facilitate coordination among different trades to prevent work clashes or delays.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations on site.

Promote safe work practices and participate in HSE audits and toolbox talks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in civil construction projects (infrastructure, buildings, roads, etc.).

Certifications: PMP or similar certification is a plus; local engineering board registration preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering practices.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design/drafting software.
