The new and upgraded “Union Bridge on Franklin '' in the Adelaide CBD, incorporating one of Adelaide's newest restaurants "1836" has now opened its doors and we are looking for a full time EVENTS DUTY Manager with a love of South Australian food and craft beverages.

Events Duty Manager – Union Bridge

About the Role:

As our Events Duty Manager, you will take full responsibility for creating, managing and executing events across both of our Franklin St and Cuddly Creek Venues. You'll be the driving force behind all things events, from marketing and communication to bringing in new clients and securing functions. Your role will involve working closely with our kitchen, service team, and senior management to ensure every event runs smoothly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

End to End Event Management: Design and execute unique, profitable events and activations that enhance the reputation of Union Bridge.

Venue Promotion & Marketing: Lead all communication, marketing and promotions for upcoming events. Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and event organiser's to bring new business through the doors.

Client Liaison & Securing Functions: Work actively to generate business by securing new functions and events, whilst maintaining a strong, ongoing relationship with clients.

Event Execution & Leadership: Oversea all aspects of event delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and guests. Lead from the front, be hands-on, and motivate your team to execute events to the highest standard.

Venue Operations: Beyond event management, you will also be expected to work within the venue, assisting in daily operations and providing leadership and guidance to staff.

Proven Experience: You have experience in event management, with a focus on both planning and execution. You can demonstrate a track record of delivering successful events and activations.

Autonomy & Initiative: You are confident in taking ownership of the events process from start to finish. You can work independently, using your initiative to drive business and bring in new opportunities.

Excellent Communication & Marketing Skills: You know how to communicate effectively with clients, wendors and staff. You are skilled in marketing and can use various platforms to promote events and secure bookings.

Hands on Leadership: You're a leader who leads by example. Whether its during an event or in a day to day operations, you're not afraid to get your hands dirty and work alongside your team.

Organized & Detail-Oriented: You thrive in a high pressure environment and can handle multiple events simultaneously, keeping every detail in check.
