About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer, you’ll drive short-term planning and execution to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable production outcomes across steady state operations and new mine ramp-ups. This is a site-based role on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute weekly and daily production plans aligned to monthly schedules.

Develop stope and development designs, including drill & blast parameters.

Monitor operational metrics (tonnes, grade, dilution, recovery) and flag improvement opportunities.

Support short-term scheduling, ventilation planning and shift execution.

Partner closely with Technical Services, Geology and Operations to meet production KPIs.

Contribute to safety inspections, hazard identification and incident investigations.

Maintain accurate mine data and designs in planning software (e.g. Deswik).

About You

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering (or related discipline).

Prior underground production engineering experience preferred (UG design & scheduling).

Proficient with mine planning software and Microsoft Excel.

Clear, practical communicator who collaborates well with site crews and supervisors.

Safety first mindset with a sound understanding of risk management on mine sites.
