About YOU

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a passion for great food, a natural leadership style, and strong operational know-how. You will also have:

Certificate IV in Commercial cookery or other equivalent qualifications and 1 year of relevant work experience. ( 3 years of relevant work experience acceptable)

Strong culinary and leadership skills with a hands-on approach

Ability to manage costs and drive operational efficiency

Maintaining a healthy and cooperative relationship with all the restaurant teams.

Assisting the kitchen management team to ensure the quality and consistency of our product is maintained to the standards expected.

Adhering to the kitchen's hygiene processes and procedures and assisting with hygiene records.

Maintenance of stock levels with regards to prep and ensuring the management team are aware of any ordering requirements.

Located on Hardware Lane, Grill Steak Seafood is Smart Casual and intimate dining with a cocktail bar and dining room upstairs that brings a Mediterranean taste to the heart of Melbourne.
