We're looking for a passionate, reliable, and experienced Head Cook to lead our kitchen team at Sauci Pasta Bar, an exciting new takeaway pasta concept opening in Carnegie.

About the Role:

As Head Cook, you'll be responsible for:

Overseeing all kitchen operations and food preparation

Maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation of sauces and pastas

Leading a small, motivated kitchen team with a hands-on approach

Managing prep schedules, portioning, and stock rotation

Ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met

Working closely with the founders to launch and grow the business

About You:

Proven experience as a Head Cook, Sous Chef, or Cook in a high-volume kitchen

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Able to add your creative input

Confident in preparing and cooking fresh sauces and pasta dishes

Passionate about food, efficiency, and consistency

Comfortable working in an open kitchen environment with customer visibility

Able to work autonomously and take initiative

Food Safety Certificate required.

Must have permanent right to work in Australia
