An established and growing organisation in the manufacturing and FMCG sector is seeking a Plant Controller to take ownership of financial support across a key production site. Working closely with operational leaders, this is a highly visible, business-facing role offering a genuine opportunity to influence decision-making and performance outcomes.

This is a permanent role with a hybrid working model (mix of on-site and working from home), offering both autonomy and support within a collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes for the manufacturing site.
• Partner with site leadership to track performance, drive cost efficiencies, and provide meaningful insights
• Prepare commentary and analysis on variances, risks and opportunities, and provide support with business cases.
• Responsible for end-to-end product costing, cost analysis, and providing accurate cost data to support pricing, forecasting, and operational decision-making
• Ensure financial controls, compliance and reporting integrity across plant operations
  
  

About You:

You're a commercially minded finance professional with experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You enjoy getting close to the operations, building strong relationships, and using data to drive better outcomes.

You'll bring:

• A relevant accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or CIMA)
• Strong technical skills across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and costing in a manufacturing/ supply chain environment
• Experience partnering with operational stakeholders
• An analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
• People leadership experience (or a strong desire to lead) is highly regarded
