We are currently working with a well backed privately owned mining company to recruit an ambitious, career driven and highly motivated Under Graduate or Graduate to work in the corporate CBD office.

Working in this small finance team, you will work closely with the Accountant and Assistant Accountant, to gain an understanding of the accounting processes and procedures. You will be exposed to all levels of accounting to build your technical and commercial knowledge. This will include processing, all the way through to preparing financial statements, budgets and forecasts and management reporting. You will also work with Power BI and utilise your data analytics knowledge.

Part of the role will see you visit the mine sites to gain an understanding of the operational side of the business.

This role can be part-time to compliment your study commitments or also full time.

To be successful, we are looking at Trainee Accounting candidates aiming or with a GPA score of 6 and above, a solid understanding of accounting principles such as DR's and CR's, and with a desire to start CA / CPA / ACCA studies. You must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the business. We are looking for the successful candidate to commence this role in November.
