Senior Quality Assurance Officer

RTE & Further Processing | Blacktown, NSW

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join our clients large scale manufacturing business. Reporting to the QA Manager, you’ll help ensure all products meet the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality. This role is hands-on and varied, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact across operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Promoting and maintaining HACCP, SQF and Export standards on site

Conducting product inspections and ensuring compliance with specifications

Managing QA records and documentation in line with our Quality Management System

Running the Environmental Monitoring Program (swabbing, sampling, product testing)

Supporting audits, HACCP record checks and corrective actions

Investigating customer complaints and providing feedback

Reviewing product specifications and labelling accuracy

Partnering with operations to build a strong quality culture

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about food safety.

You’ll need:

Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or related field

Strong quality assurance experience in the food industry

Experience working with further processing, meat and RTE products

Exposure to high care / high risk environments

Solid knowledge of HACCP principles in addition to SQF

Strong communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels

High attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office
