The Dinner Ladies is a leading meal delivery service, founded in 2007 by busy mums Sophie Gilliatt and Katherine Westwood. From our Sydney HQ, we create home-style frozen meals using quality ingredients, delivering them nationwide. We've experienced significant growth as more families discover the magic of having dinner sorted. As we expand, we're building our team with people who get it - because life's too short to stress about what's for dinner every night.

The Role

We are looking for a creative Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing team with a focus on digital marketing and content creation. You'll get hands-on experience across social media, email marketing, food photography, and event support. This role is perfect for someone passionate about marketing who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced, food-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Support content creation for website, blog, social media, and email campaigns

Schedule and manage social media content across multiple platforms

Assist with email marketing campaigns and database management

Coordinate weekly food photoshoots including cooking and styling

Support photo and video shoots with setup, coordination, and asset management

Assist at brand events and activations

Monitor social media performance and compile basic reports

Provide general marketing support across various projects and campaigns

The Essentials

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent experience

1-2 years' experience in marketing, social media, or content creation

Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices

Basic video editing skills (CapCut preferred)

Passionate foodie who enjoys cooking and food styling
