Unify Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading Electrical contractor within the Data Centre sector who are looking add a Senior Estimator to the team, due to an up coming retirement. The business has been operational for nearly 40 years, and has built a great reputation for their quality of work, and a great place to work - which is proven from repeat business and long tenure within the company.

About the role

You'll be joining a team a team of 5 estimators, who have been all been with the the business for 15+ years or brought through as an apprentice. The company have long standing relationships with clients and are very selective on who they work with and viability of projects - a company that doesn't chase turn over! This would be a fully autonomous role with the estimating manager working with a "hands off" approach to leading his team, but full support will be given when needed. Estimate values could be between $1m-$100m from complex engineering to simple construction/fit out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and cost-effective tenders
• Work with senior leaders and Project managers to deliver tenders within tight deadlines
• Manage and negotiate the best price for materials from suppliers
• Maintain and build relationships with clients to win new work
• Dealing directly with client representatives

About you

• 5+ Years as an Estimator working on $20m+ packages
• Full Australian working rights
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proven track record in delivering accurate tenders
