Client

This Chartered Accounting firm services a diverse client base of SMEs, large private business, investment entities, trusts, high-net-worth individuals and international subsidiaries. They have had a proven track record of sustained revenue growth over many years and leverage expertise across both commercial enterprises and public practice to provide high-quality advice and strategic insight to their clients. Specialist areas include income tax, structuring, private equity, tax consulting, M&A, family office services and international tax.

Business Services Manager / Senior Manager Role:

Review and sign off on complex financial statements, tax returns and advisory reports

Provide technical guidance on accounting standards, tax legislation, and compliance issues

Serve as the primary advisor for key clients

Oversee the delivery of high-quality compliance, tax, and advisory services

Drive the strategic direction and growth of the business services division

Lead and manage a team of senior accountants, managers, and support staff

Development of technical skills of staff including conducting in-house technical training

Experience:

Worked in a leadership capacity in a mid-tier or large Australian accounting firm

CA qualification + any other additional tax qualifications will be looked upon highly

Experience handling middle market and/or large private domestic groups

In-depth knowledge of accounting standards

Strong leadership and people management skills
