Services Coordinator – Suicide Prevention & Crisis Support

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities impacted by suicide? Lifeline Mid Coast is seeking a compassionate and experienced Services Coordinator to lead and support our crisis intervention and suicide prevention programs.

What You'll Do

As our Services Coordinator, you'll play a vital leadership role in:

Supporting staff and volunteers through supervision, mentoring, and debriefing.

Leading crisis support operations and acting as the escalation point for critical incidents.

Facilitating group sessions and providing one-on-one support to those impacted by suicide.

Managing program delivery, compliance, and reporting.

Building strong community partnerships and representing Lifeline in collaborative forums.

Promoting a trauma-informed, inclusive, and professional workplace culture.

What We're Looking For

You'll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling or a related field with current professional registration (AHPRA, AASW, or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain.

Experience in crisis intervention, mental health services, or trauma-informed care.

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in crisis intervention, mental health services, or trauma-informed care.

Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data management.

Familiarity with accreditation standards and reporting requirements.

A current driver's licence.

Permanent residency or valid work visa for Australia.

Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Working with Children Check

Desirable or Willingness to Learn:

Didi Hirsch SOSA Lead Facilitator qualification.

Completion of Crisis Support Workplace Training (CSWT).

Knowledge of Lifeline's CARE Framework.

ACA registration or willingness to obtain.

Experience supporting Lived Experience Peer Workers.
