The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Leading Hand / Formwork Carpenter to oversee and undertake all aspects of concrete formwork. This role involves hands-on carpentry, site coordination, and team leadership. We are also open to carpenters willing to learn the formwork trade.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise formwork carpentry teams on-site

Interpret and execute detailed architectural and structural drawings

Construct formwork for slabs, walls, columns, stairs, and custom architectural Items

Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and other trades

Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with WHS regulations

Manage materials, tools onsite

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in Formwork carpentry

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to read and interpret complex drawings

Solid understanding of concrete behaviour and construction sequencing

White Card and relevant trade qualifications

Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality workmanship
