Ricks Garage is growing, and we’re looking for two new Duty Managers to join our leadership team!

We’re not just any venue, we’re a Sunshine Coast institution, known for great food, cold drinks, live music, and a good time every night of the week. If you love hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to lead a team that works hard and has fun, this is your chance.

What You’ll Do

As a Duty Manager at Ricks, you’ll:

Lead the FOH team during service, making sure every shift runs smoothly.

Recruit and train our next generation of FOH superstars (our juniors are a huge part of who we are).

Balance tills, manage stock, and keep operations on track.

Motivate the team, set the vibe, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.

Step up as the go-to leader when things get busy, because at Ricks, they always do!

Take on some early morning shifts in the Bakehouse, supporting our café trade and ensuring the same high standards flow across both sides of the business.

What We’re Looking For

Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality.

A natural leader who’s confident, approachable, and leads by example.

Organised and proactive — you don’t wait for problems, you solve them.

Passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

Flexibility to work a mix of nights, weekends, and some early mornings in the Bakehouse.

Someone who wants to grow with us and help shape the future of Ricks.
