Leadership & People Management

Lead weekly communication meetings with Duty Manager and Supervisor teams to ensure operational consistency and alignment.

Complete weekly rosters for Duty Managers and Supervisors, subject to Operations Manager approval.

Mentor and support Duty Managers and Supervisors with coaching, training, and conflict resolution.

Assist the HR Manager with disciplinary matters, staff counselling, and procedural compliance.

Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team leaders.

Conduct staff performance reviews and assist in professional development planning.

Drive a culture of accountability, integrity, and proactive service leadership.

Operational Oversight

Perform regular internal venue checks with a focus on customer service, cleanliness, and adherence to procedural standards.

Ensure daily procedural lists are actioned and completed by teams across departments.

Work alongside the Operations Manager to develop and review operational procedures.

Oversee rostering, handovers, and shift continuity.

Address member and guest feedback promptly and professionally, escalating critical issues to the Operations Manager when necessary.

Assist with end-of-day reporting and documentation.

Stock and Asset Management

Assist in the coordination and completion of stocktakes across beverage and consumables as required.

Ensure all departments comply with ordering, transfer, and storage procedures.

Support stock variance reporting and improvement strategies.

Compliance & Risk

Ensure Duty Manager and Supervisor teams comply with WHS, Liquor, and Gaming legislative requirements.

Monitor and enforce responsible service of alcohol and gaming policies.

Report and document all incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues as per policy.

Financial Accountability

Minimise loss through diligent staff supervision, stock control, and efficient rostering.

Monitor cash handling compliance and ensure accurate shift reconciliation.
