Welcome to SPOT Paediatrics! We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive allied health environment. The ideal candidate will be interested in working as part of a team, has strong customer service, organisation and administration skills, demonstrates problem solving skills, brings a positive attitude, and can easily adapt to the ever-evolving needs of the practice. A professional and friendly demeanour are also essential for success at SPOT.

About the Role

This dynamic role will provide the opportunity to work as part of a small administration and clinical team and play a vital role in the smooth running of the clinic. As the first point of contact for families in our clinic you will be a friendly, familiar and welcoming face to our clients and families.

This role is a casual position with the scope to develop into a permanent part-time position. The position requires 8am starts.

The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate a high level of communication skills within the team and with clients

Demonstrate exceptional customer services skills to support our clients and their families

Cope under pressure during busy times while maintaining a friendly face and professionalism

Be adaptable across situations

Understand the importance of attention to detail and organisational skills

Demonstrate innovation in helping to streamline processes and improve client experience

The Receptionist will report to the Administration Lead and will be responsible for duties including:

Collaborating with team members regarding clients and scheduling

Efficient and timely billing and invoicing

Providing the waiting room experience for SPOT clients and families

Booking and scheduling appointments

Phone duties

Some basic administration duties

Supporting coordination of clients for SPOT groups

Contribution to managing a waitlist/supporting new client bookings

Awareness of the importance for the clinic in building referral partnerships

Some correspondence with external professionals and contractors may be required

Regular correspondence with client families
