About the Opportunity
Are you a highly organised, discreet, and proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced executive environments? We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to the Chancellor to provide high-level support in one of the University’s most influential offices.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, contribute to the University’s strategic objectives, and gain exposure to governance, policy development, and international partnerships. With scope to engage in committees and working groups, you will play a hands-on role in advancing the University’s mission locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities
As a trusted partner to the Chancellor, you will ensure the efficient operation of the Office by delivering professional, reliable, and high-quality executive support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing executive communications, including drafting high-quality correspondence, reports, and briefings.
- Coordinating complex scheduling, diary management, meetings, and travel arrangements for domestic and international engagements.
- Supporting the delivery of speeches, media releases, and the Chancellor’s social media presence.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the Board of Trustees, University executives, senior staff, and external stakeholders.
- Conducting research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and prepare concise executive-level briefings.
- Providing advice on sensitive issues, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings.

Your organisational skills are exceptional, allowing you to handle complex scheduling, coordinate logistics, and ensure the smooth execution of all tasks and engagements. You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, enabling you to anticipate the needs of senior leaders and provide seamless support.
With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you build productive relationships across all levels and confidently prepare high-quality briefings and reports that distil complex issues into clear insights.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $124,203 to $133,967 p.a. (comprising Salary of $104,953 to $113,204 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
