The school is seeking an experienced and technically confident ICT Systems Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to step up, take ownership of IT operations, and gradually grow into an IT Manager role.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the school's IT systems and infrastructure, while also supporting a small, capable IT team (3-4 people). You’ll be the go-to person for technical issues, system improvements, and project implementation — with the opportunity to develop your leadership and strategic skills over time.

In a small school setting, you'll wear multiple hats — from troubleshooting and maintaining systems to advising on IT strategy — making this a rewarding and career-defining position for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of the school’s ICT systems and infrastructure.
• Provide day-to-day support across networks, servers, security, and end-user systems.
• Lead and support a small IT team (3–4 staff), helping to set direction and mentor junior team members.
• Work on school-wide IT improvement projects, upgrades, and implementations.
• Assist in developing and aligning IT practices with the school’s long-term goals.
• Maintain a proactive approach to cyber security and system reliability.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience as a Systems Administrator or Senior IT Support professional.
• Strong technical knowledge across networking, infrastructure, Windows Server, Office 365, and IT security.
• Experience in or readiness to lead a small team — formally or informally.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, collaborative attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with all levels of staff.
• A commitment to the values of the school’s Christian ethos. (Pastoral references will be required.)
