The Leader of Accredited Training – Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) and Disability is responsible for overseeing the effective coordination, delivery, and quality assurance of nationally recognised training programs in Early Childhood Education and Care, including Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Disability Support.
You will support trainers with students, to meet the demands of their chosen course, while developing and delivering training programs which reflect best practice teaching methodology.
In addition, you will provide pre-course advice to students and conduct student entry level assessment, selection and induction.
Your passion for stakeholder engagement will see you represent and promote are-able at appropriate functions and forums in the local community, maintaining strong partnerships with early childhood education and Disability providers to support student placements.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in program coordination or educational leadership with an RTO as well as:
- Qualifications in a relevant field.
- Adequate industry experience and engagement with industry in one of the relevant program areas.
- Current industry skills and knowledge that will enable programs in the relevant areas to be prepared, delivered, assessed, evaluated and administered.
- Knowledge of current legislation, government policy and standards related to training and the VET sector.
- Demonstrated high level communication, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, and as an effective member of a team.
