At The Heads, located in the scenic Barwon Heads, and The Dunes in beautiful Ocean Grove, are seeking dedicated and passionate Chefs to join our culinary teams for the upcoming summer season. We have multiple roles to fill for both full time and casual summer contact positions available.

Starting dates are flexible but new hires would not be starting until the End of September.

Your Role:

As one of our Chefs, you will:

Work the kitchen in collaboration with the Head Chef, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.

Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Work within a team-oriented and motivated working environment.

Contribute to managing food costs and maintaining inventory levels.

Display high priority towards consistency across all aspects of your work.

What You’ll Bring:

Relevant Trade Qualification: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in culinary arts.

Experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

A passion for food and a strong understanding of fresh, local produce.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional standards.

Strong communication and team management skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Experience in managing kitchen operations, including stock control, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
