We’re Hiring: Full time Chef/experienced cook - 4-5 Nights week. Starting ASAP

Exciting opportunity for a full time Chef / experienced cook 4-5 nights a week focusing on Tex-Mex cuisine at our Ascot Vale Bar. We are relaunching our popular 50 seat Bar venue with a fresh new menu coming into warmer weather. If you have experience cooking with bold spices, hearty ingredients and fresh crunch, then we want to hear from you.

• Full training on sauce prep and training on preparing all new menu items by our consultant Tex-Mex chef.

• Solo Chef/Cook role with support from wait staff if/when needed.

• New menu will be burgers, tacos, burrito bowls, corn ribs, smoked meats, pot pies, etc with all salsas and sauces made in house fresh.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working solo in the kitchen.

• Enjoys prepping for the week ahead.

• Ensures the kitchen remains clean and organised.

• Is reliable, quick on their feet, and customer-focused.

• Takes ownership in managing orders and supplies.

We are open Wed-Sun for dinner with typical hours 4pm - 9pm with a long prep day on Wednesday.
