The Access Group Recruitment are the go-to agency for our clients and payroll professionals looking for their next contract or permanent position.
My client is needing a Payroll Officer to manage their payroll, on a stand alone basis reporting to Payroll Manager, end to end - this is a full-time contract for 2- 4 months.

On a day to day basis, you will:

• Process accurate and timely payroll using MicrOpay
• Weekly and monthly payroll
• Applying Enterprise Agreement and Award terms
• Process Workers Compensation
• Process superannuation and other employee related payments as required
• Maintain the payroll system, time and attendance system
• Maintain personnel files with the timely storage of all documents
• Provide reporting and analysis to management
• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of employee payments, and adherence to privacy legislation
• Assist with ad hoc payroll related requests/tasks as requested

To be successful, you must have:

• Strong MicrOpay experience
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and awards
• High attention to detail and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and time management skills
