Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced stand-alone Payroll officer for a highly regarded and well-respected organisation based in the Melbourne CBD. This role will be permanent with an immediate start.

Proven payroll experience within a standalone environment within the not-for-profit industry will be highly advantageous

The successful applicant will be capable of processing timesheets on a fortnightly basis working with complex payroll systems (KeyPay / Employment Hero), non-award and award rates as well as superannuation processing will be an advantage for the successful candidate.

This is a part-time role with static days of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday however also open to 5 days for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the HR/Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• High Volume Payroll processing on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
• Adhering to a large amount of award and EBA rates
• Accurate entering of new staff data
• Processing of Salary packaging / entitlements
• Ensure wages and Tax payments are compliant with regulation
• Mentoring and overseeing of the payroll team
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

• Confident in high volume payroll
• Previous EBA/SCHADS experience
• Excellent Attention to detail
• Payroll/HRIS systems (Employment Hero) experience
• Excellent Organisational Skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a team
