Payroll Officer – Local Council (Coburg)
3-Month Contract | $55 p/h + Super

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join a local council based in Coburg for a 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys delivering accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll processing for council employees.
• Ensure compliance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation.
• Reconcile payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
• Provide payroll reporting and respond to employee queries in a timely manner.
• Assist with process improvements and system efficiency where required.

About You:

• Must have experience using iChris/Chris21 payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation, and entitlements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
