Experienced Payroll Officer - Contract Opportunity

• Onsite Role
• 4 or 5 Days Per Week
• 1-3 Month Assignment
• Immediate or late August Start

An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our client undergoing a payroll system transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end processing of payroll for a large, multi-site workforce
• Interpret EBAs and awards with accuracy
• Provide high-level customer service to internal stakeholders
• Support data integrity and assist with evolving payroll processes
• Work confidently and independently within a small payroll team

What We're Looking For:

• Solid payroll experience across medium to large workforces
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Confident, adaptable, and comfortable navigating change
• Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Experience:

• Previous exposure to outsourced payroll environments (e.g., ADP)
• Experience with payroll system implementation an advantage
• String BAU payroll experience
• Experience in ADP
