About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Qualified Accountant to join our growing team in Brendale. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting to support informed decision-making. You’ll work closely with management, providing insights that drive scalability, efficiency, and long-term profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation and lodgement of company and individual taxation returns.

Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting

Provide reliable financial oversight, ensuring compliance and reporting that enable sustainable growth and profitability.

Working with external auditors and advisors

Manage cashflow, forecasting, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll processes

Deliver timely and accurate end-of-month (EOM) and end-of-financial-month (EFM) reports.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to meetings and strategic objectives.

Implement and optimise financial controls and procedures.

Contributing to process improvements and systems integration

About You

CPA/CA qualified (or working towards)

Prior accounting experience will be highly regarded

Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax legislation, and compliance requirements

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Confident communicator and team player

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across teams and with clients

Proficient in accounting systems and cloud-based tools
