At the heart of our operations is our Ambulance fleet — and we’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our Darwin workshop ensuring our vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to respond at all times.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is primarily focused on servicing and maintaining the St John NT Ambulance fleet, including 4WDs and other support vehicles. You will be essential in keeping our frontline response teams mobile and operational.
Perform mechanical repairs and scheduled servicing on a wide range of vehicles, with a strong focus on Ambulances.
- Work closely with the Fleet and Operations team to ensure vehicles meet compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and contribute to workshop efficiency.
ABOUT YOU
- Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic or similar.
- Solid experience in fleet or emergency vehicle maintenance highly desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, especially with electrical systems.
- A team-oriented attitude and a commitment to high safety standards.
