Injury Management and Wellbeing Advisor

• 24-month up to full-time contract

• $92,990.56 (pro rata) per annum + Superannuation

The City of Bunbury is seeking a dedicated Injury Management and Wellbeing Advisor to join our People & Safety team.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in building a safe and supportive workplace, where wellbeing is a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate proactive wellbeing programs through collaboration with stakeholders

Coordinate injury reporting and assessment in line with legislation and policy.

Implement and oversee rehabilitation programs tailored to individual employee needs.

Liaise with medical professionals, managers, and employees to support recovery pathways.

Develop and facilitate effective return-to-work plans.

Conduct risk assessments and recommend proactive strategies to prevent workplace injuries.

Provide ongoing advice, guidance, and support to staff throughout their recovery journey.

You’ll succeed if this sounds like you:

You champion a worker centred approach to injury management and wellbeing.

You have relevant qualifications or significant experience in injury management, occupational health and safety, or return-to-work coordination.

You understand workers’ compensation legislation and rehabilitation frameworks.

You are skilled in building strong, empathetic relationships with employees, medical providers, and managers.

You can manage sensitive and complex situations with discretion and professionalism.

You have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.

You’re a proactive team player who is passionate about health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
