Storytellers of Sydney…
Are you ready to use your words and creativity to make a genuine difference in people's lives?
WOW Recruitment are helping a fantastic non-profit organisation based right here in NSW, to find a part-time Content Specialist.
This isn't just any content role; it's about connecting with people, understanding their journeys, and crafting compelling narratives that resonate.
If you're passionate about storytelling and want to see your work have a real-world impact, then keep reading.
What You'll Be Doing:
This role is at the heart of the organisation's storytelling efforts. You'll be working closely with their Brand & Engagement Manager to bring incredible stories to life.
Think of yourself as a content chameleon, adapting your skills to reach diverse audiences, including families, carers, and potential corporate partners.
Your days will be packed with a fascinating mix of content creation, including:
- People-focused case studies for their website and social media.
- Engaging video scripts that bring personal experiences to the forefront.
- LinkedIn content to inspire and inform businesses about meaningful partnerships.
- Recruitment day materials that highlight the amazing opportunities they offer.
- And so much more – from training documents to powerful social media posts, you'll be telling stories across various platforms.
This role is all about empathy, connection, and the ability to find the extraordinary in everyday lives.
What We're Looking For:
- Copywriting: You've got a solid background in writing and know how to craft clear, compelling, and heartfelt content.
- A true storyteller: You're naturally curious about people and can turn complex experiences into engaging, accessible narratives.
- Versatility is key: You'll be jumping between different content types and audiences, so adaptability is a must.
- Passion for impact: You genuinely care about making a positive difference in the community.
- Bonus points: Experience in the non-profit sector or with disability services (like NDIS) would be super helpful, as you'll already have a feel for the kind of sensitive and inspiring stories this organisation shares.
Why This Role Is Great:
You'll be joining an organisation that provides incredible full-service support for people with disabilities across NSW.
This includes everything from helping individuals find meaningful employment (through awesome initiatives like gap year programs and partnerships with local businesses) to funding dedicated carers and even running cafes and production facilities that create amazing opportunities.
You'll be the second person in their marketing team, meaning you'll have a real chance to shape their content strategy and make a significant mark.
