About you
You're an experienced and passionate early childhood professional who’s ready to take the lead in shaping the future of young children and the educators who support them. With a Diploma (or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education and Care, you bring a deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and a commitment to nurturing children’s sense of being, belonging, and becoming.
You thrive in leadership roles and have a proven track record of guiding teams, coordinating programs, and creating inclusive environments where both children and educators can flourish. With strong knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law (WA) Act 2012 and Regulations, as well as child protection legislation, you’re confident in your ability to ensure compliance and champion the highest standards of care.
You're someone who brings vision, initiative, and a calm presence to your role. Whether it's working with families to achieve meaningful outcomes, designing programs that reflect the unique needs of your community, or leading staff development and training, you do it all with a deep sense of purpose and professionalism.
Organised and tech-savvy, you’re just as comfortable leading a team meeting as you are preparing reports or navigating sector forums. You’re known for your ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and lead with empathy, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

About Wanslea
Wanslea promotes community, family, and individual development through partnerships and services
Families and children have been at the heart of Wanslea since the organisation was established in 1943. They are still the focus of our entire organisation, which has now grown to offer services in four key areas.
•Family Support
•Out of Home Care
•Community Capacity Building
•Child Care
Through the commitment of our dedicated staff, who share our values, we are now able to reach out to families located across the Perth Metropolitan area, the Peel, Great Southern and Goldfields regions. Greater access means that we are able to help more families with a range of professional and support services.
It also means that we can be there for the children when they need us. It may be for one night because a parent is ill or it could be for long-term foster care. As always our focus is on the well being of the child. We don’t judge, we don’t discriminate, we’re there to help.
