About the role
ARRCS are seeking a qualified and experienced Personal Care Worker to work full-time hours of 38 hours per week. This role is working out of Hetti Perkins Aged Care facility and attracts a salary of $33.50 - $34.99 / hour gross dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
Your role as a Personal Care Worker will see you providing care and support within the facility undertaking personal care including grooming, showering and dressing, mobility and assistance with meals and all requirements accordance to the resident’s care plans.
This role will suit a person who have care and compassion and enjoy interacting with our residents within our facilities.
As the ideal candidate, you will bring previous experience in an aged care or disability support role. You will be able to work with minimal supervision, however, have the professionalism to report or provide support with senior nursing staff when required. You will provide a strong work ethic whilst being able to ensure that the care and wellbeing of our residents are kept to the highest standards.

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, we would require you to demonstrate the following:
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- National Police Check (dated within 3 months).
- Proof of current year Flu Vaccination
- Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Care.
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with the activities of daily living in an Aged Care setting.
- Demonstrated effective and clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
- An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions relevant to the role.
- Proof of or willing to obtain the following mandatory requirements:

ARRCS (Australian Regional Remote Community Services)
Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) was established in July 2014 and provides aged care and community services in the Northern Territory. The services were previously managed by Frontier Services.
ARRCS operates eight residential care facilities with a combined capacity of 385 beds, and 11 community care programs in Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, Mutitjulu and Docker River. Some of the services are specifically for Indigenous Australians.
Our staff aim to provide Territorians with services that are responsive to people’s needs now and as their circumstances change.
These services are available to older people, people with a disability, patients discharged from hospital or following a visit to their GP, and individuals and carers who are in need of support.
