About the role
Neuroblastoma Australia is seeking a motivated and experienced Event Co-Ordinator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the coordination and execution of high-profile events that raise awareness and funds for neuroblastoma childhood cancer. As an Event Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for organising all aspects of event planning and delivery, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional attendee experience. The role is based in our North Sydney office and is initially a full time 12 month contract, with an opportunity of review at the end of the 12 months.
What you'll be doing
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement event strategies that align with Neuroblastoma Australia's objectives
Coordinating all logistical elements of events, including venue selection, catering, speaker management, and on-site operations
Managing event budgets and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines and costs
Liaising with vendors, suppliers, and other third-party partners to ensure the successful delivery of events
Providing on-site event support and managing event staff and volunteers
Analysing event data and providing post-event reports to measure success and inform future planning
Managing event inventory and organisation and delivery of equipment.
Supporting event website content and user experience and queries
Providing content to marketing team as required
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience in event coordination or project management, preferably within the not-for-profit area or events space
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute successful events, from small-scale functions to large-scale events
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
Proficient in using event management software, excel and canva and able to pick up other relevant digital tools
A team player with a positive and proactive attitude, happy to get stuck in and ensure things happen on time to the right standard, whether that be in the office or out on an event site
