Kinder Kare is a family owned, purpose-built, modern long day care service that caters for 71 children from 0-12 years of age between 6:30 to 6:30 Monday to Friday.

Our aim is to provide a secure and happy environment where children can grow and develop to become confident and independent individuals.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate educator to join our supportive team, working with a small group of school-aged children in a nurturing and engaging environment.

At Kinder Kare Early Learning Centre, we offer Before & After School Care and Vacation Care for a maximum of 10 children per day, allowing for strong relationships and meaningful interactions.

About the Role:

Split shifts during school terms:
6:30am–9:00am and 2:45pm–6:30pm
(includes a split shift allowance)

Regular shifts during school holidays

Part-time permanent position with flexibility during holiday periods

You'll work alongside a team of highly qualified educators and enjoy support from a dedicated leadership team

This role is ideal for a student or educator looking for free time during the day to focus on study, rest, or other commitments. Vacation care rosters are flexible and shared across a team of educators.

Your key priorities

Implementation and planning developmentally and educationally appropriate program

Provide supervision, assistance and support to other educators

Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment for children

Maintain positive working relationships with all team members and families

Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times

Your skills & qualifications

To be considered for the role, you will have:

A Diploma in Children's Services

A driver's license and confident in driving a 12 seater van (regular car license is suitable)

At least two years of experience in early education

Current Working with Children Check

Current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates

Good communication and interpersonal skills

A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (ELYF) or My Time Our Place (MTOP)

Strong knowledge and experience in planning and programming
