About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Spray Painter to join our growing team. Welding and spray painting are the core attributes for this role, with the painting work largely focused on joinery and furniture finishes for exhibitions and branded environments.

At the same time, we value people with wide-ranging skills — whether it's Cabinet Making, Shopfitting, Sign Writing, Graphics Production, Vehicle Wrapping, or other trades and creative skills we haven't even thought of yet. If you're versatile and hands-on, you'll be right at home here.

You'll mainly be based at our Seven Hills workshop, with occasional onsite installation work and interstate travel available if desired.

Key Responsibilities

Welding & Fabrication

MIG/TIG welding of mild steel, aluminium, and other materials

Cutting, grinding, and metal preparation

Reading and interpreting technical drawings

Spray Painting of Joinery/Furniture

Preparing surfaces (sanding, masking, priming)

Mixing and applying paints for high-quality joinery and furniture finishes

Maintaining spray equipment and ensuring a safe, clean workspace

Additional Opportunities

Assist with fabrication, installations, or graphics production

Bring additional specialist skills to broaden our in-house capability

Participate in optional onsite work and interstate travel

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years proven welding experience (MIG/TIG essential)

Minimum 2+ years experience in spray painting of joinery, furniture, or similar high-quality finishes

Trade qualification in welding/metal fabrication or similar (preferred)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Physically fit, WHS-aware, and proactive

Forklift licence (desired but not essential)

Flexibility for diverse tasks and optional travel

Full Australian working rights or valid work visa

Valid Australian driver's licence

Current White Card (Construction Induction Training) or willingness to obtain
