We are currently seeking a Workshop Welder with experience in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) to join our fabrication workshop in Rutherford. This role is responsible for producing high-quality welding detail that form the foundation of key construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Perform GMAW welding on structural steel components in line with engineering specifications.

Assemble and prepare fabricated steel elements for commercial and industrial projects.

Accurately interpret engineering drawings and production requirements.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve project deadlines.

Maintain compliance with safety protocols and contribute to a well-organised workshop.

Proven experience in structural steel welding, with proficiency in GMAW processes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality assurance standards.

Capacity to read and interpret technical drawings.
