Our office is growing and we're looking for some gun team members to assist our clients.

Our office assists small to medium clients handling personal taxation returns, business taxation returns, Self Managed Superannuation, bookkeeping and advisory services.

We are seeking a bookkeeper to assist with our growing client base to handle weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc bookkeeping on multiple platforms, compilation of BAS returns, payroll and other various bookkeeping duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Record Transactions accurately, from bank statements and receipts

Reconciling bank statements, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets

Preparation of Accounts, BAS and IAS monthly and quarterly

Assist with client queries

Payroll, STP filing and superannuation

Communicating with the ATO and ASIC

Upskilling and keeping up to date with latest requirements for clients

Assisting in preparation of end of year financials

Ad-hoc reporting and processing tasks as required

Skills and Experience:

Having worked in bookkeeping/accounting field prior or had hands on experience in bookkeeping

Knowledge of bookkeeping software's (Xero, Myob & QBO)

Ability to work independently and self driven

Microsoft Office skills

Work ethic that is client focused and flexibility around workflow

Able to handle a high pressure environment

Attention to detail

ATO Online services

Other Skills that will be looked at favourably:

Cert IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping or higher

Previous work in an accounting firm

Previous experience with Handisoft

Strong knowledge of Xero

Previous experience with BAS preparations

Payroll Knowledge

Ability to switch between multiple clients in multiple industries
