North Shore Gym is a family- run gym that has been serving the community for over 35 years. We offer a huge range of health and fitness services - our café being one of our member’s favourites!

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented café all-rounder to join our vibrant team.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and serving high quality coffee, smoothies and food

Providing exceptional customer service to all members and guests

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Helping to maintain a positive and community- based environment.

Inventory management

Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for:

An individual with at least 1 years' previous experience as a Barista

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Knowledge of coffee preparation and the ability to consistently produce high-quality drinks under pressure.

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.

Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including the occasional weekend.

An individual with at least one year’s experience in a cafe environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
