Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts, (APCA) is a Not for Profit Organisation, Registered Charity and a Registered Training Organisation offering accredited and non-accredited training in three genres of the performing arts. ACPA's training and mentoring program has supported some of Australia's highly recognised First Nations performing artists such as Harold Pascoe and Paul Williams (lead roles in Opera Queensland's 2024 production and 2024 Matilda Award recipient in 4 categories “Straight from the Strait”), Royston Noell (Winner Australian Idol 2023), Denzel Baker (2019 Young Australian of the Year), Jeremy Ambrum (Cleverman 2016, Secret Daughter 2016), and Tyrel Dulvarie (Bangarra since 2016). ACPA has provided world-class entertainment for various clients, including “Australia thanks the Matildas”, Brisbane River stage, televised Nationally on Channel 7, Welcome Home for Australia's 2024Paris Olympians, televised on Channel 9, Path to Treaty events, Australian Citizenship events, and welcoming the United States Ambassador to Queensland, Carolyn Kennedy. ACPA's Dance Ensemble recently performed with William Barton (2023 Queenslander of the Year) at the Asia Pacific Telecommunications Conference and for international delegates attending the 2023 world HIV Science Conference in Brisbane. With the 2032 Olympics, Paralympics and Cultural Olympiad on the horizon in Meanjin, ACPA is committed to providing quality training and mentoring to build a bright new generation of First Nations and All Nations performers.

You'll bring:
Proven experience successfully coordinating the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously,
Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier management skills,
Commercial acumen and the ability to drive business outcomes through delivery, and
A pragmatic, adaptable delivery style that suits lean environments.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with our CEO and RTO Manager to ensure smooth project planning and coordination.
Responsible for end-to-end project coordination including planning, grant writing, grant acquittal, procurement, logistics, scheduling, and reporting,
Ensure programs, budgets, and quality requirements are met,
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear lines of communication are met,
Provide regular updates and ensure the smooth execution of projects,
Maintain project documentation and update systems including SharePoint and excel tracking spreadsheets,
Assist with budget tracking, invoice review and reconciliation processes,
Coordinate materials, planning procurement and timely delivery of information to participants and materials for project outcomes,
Provide additional adhoc assistance to the CEO as requested, and
Adherence with all ACPA policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience
2+ years’ experience in project coordination and or logistics coordination,
Qualification to Diploma level or equivalent in Business Administration, Business Management, Travel or Events Management,
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to ensure project administration and operations are undertaken effectively,
willingness to learn and be part of a team environment with a collaborative mindset,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software including Outlook for email highly desired,
Strong communication, administrative and organisation skills with attention to detail being key,
Strong stakeholder management skills with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain existing relationships and build new relationships being key, and
Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
