Chief Financial Officer (Part-Time)

Salary: $140,000 to $160,000 Plus Super Pro-Rata

Hours: 3 days per week

About the Role

This is a hands-on yet strategic position where you’ll oversee the financial direction and stability of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the leadership team, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding growth, managing risk, and ensuring financial health—all without the demands of a 5-day schedule.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Planning

Developing and implementing long-term financial strategies to support company growth.

Financial Management

Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.

Risk Management & Compliance

Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and governance requirements.

Investor & Stakeholder Relations

Managing relationships with investors, banks, and lenders.

Securing necessary financing and capital support when required.

Capital Allocation & Advice

Advising the CEO and executive team on major decisions, investments, and growth opportunities.

Operational Oversight

Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial systems.

Team Leadership

Mentoring and supporting the finance team to build capability and confidence.

About You

We’re seeking a highly experienced finance professional who has led at CFO or senior finance leadership level and wants to continue making an impact without the demands of full-time hours.
