About Us
At Country Connect Foundation, we exist to unlock lives of potential through the power of country and connection. We deliver services across some of the most remote parts of the Northern Territory, supporting young people, people experiencing homelessness or at risk, and people living with disability.
Our work is grounded in connection to family, culture and country, and we partner with communities to deliver programs that improve social and emotional wellbeing, create employment and economic opportunities, and strengthen local capacity.
Joining our leadership team means more than numbers on a page — you’ll be part of a mission to create meaningful outcomes in communities where services are scarce, but resilience and culture are strong.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a unique opportunity to combine your financial leadership skills with a commitment to social impact.
The CFO will play a central role in shaping the future of CCF through:
Strategic financial leadership – driving planning, compliance, and sustainability across our organisation.
People leadership – overseeing payroll, administration and finance teams.
Risk, governance & compliance – ensuring transparency and accountability across our programs.
Asset and infrastructure oversight – supporting the management of vehicles, properties, and operations that keep services running in remote communities.
Board engagement – working closely with the CEO and Board to influence decision-making and long-term direction.
This is a hands-on leadership role with the chance to travel to Arnhem Land and other remote regions, experiencing first-hand the communities and programs your work will support.
About You
You are an influential and highly skilled finance professional who wants to use your expertise for impact. You bring:
CA/CPA qualification and significant experience in senior finance leadership.
Demonstrated success in financial planning, budgeting, and governance.
The ability to communicate complex financial concepts simply and with influence.
A collaborative leadership style, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
A commitment to CCF’s values of Consistency, Care, Connection, Client-focused and Community.
An interest in, or understanding of, the unique challenges and strengths of remote Australia.
Experience in the not-for-profit or social impact sector will be highly regarded.
Why Join Us?
Purpose-driven leadership role – your work directly contributes to positive change in remote communities.
Salary packaging options available – maximise your take-home pay through not-for-profit salary sacrificing benefits.
Diverse and impactful scope – spanning finance, governance, administration, and operations.
Travel opportunities – experience Arnhem Land and other unique regions as part of your role.
